With a myriad of social media and online platforms, the barriers to announcing our ‘message’ have been virtually (‘scuse the pun) removed. When it comes to building community The Wholehearted Way, we approach this work, not as announcing, but as amplifying a message and the content we work with you to develop in a way that will resonate for you ideal client or customer — this is part one in our Community Engagement approach. That is to say we’re all about the ripple and not so much about the blast. Were also about trust-building and engaging audiences that are aligned with your values, who care about the things you care about and who are more likely to have an interest in your services and offerings.

How it Benefits Your Business

We’ve made a conscious choice to limit the use of the word ‘marketing’ in our work, which can be tricky since a fair part of our work lands in the ‘digital marketing’ arena. Challenging as it can be at times, we’ve done so to intentionally disconnect with the attributes and connotations of the word ‘marketing’ that don’t align with our values or our approach. While we do care, pay attention to, and even research what’s happening with other businesses in the arena of a client’s business space, we don’t spend time and energy on coming up with a competitive strategy. Instead, we focus on how to tell the story about our clients business in a clear, compelling, and consistent way that creates interest and activates engagement. We’re all about tending to our own garden and not into playing the comparison game about whose plants are thriving at a particular time. We know that the more we focus on guiding our clients to bring their very best to their work consistently and sharing that with their community that’s of service, that they’re planting the seeds that will cultivate and grow the business they’re envisioning, and that will support their flourishing.
