The formalized, contractual relationship we have with Centre for Holding Space began to take shape at the end of 2019, but the multi-faceted relationship we have with Heather Plett, one of the Co-Founders of Centre of Holding Space began much earlier, back in May of 2013 to be exact. We had the great, good fortune to see Heather give a talk on summoning the courage to shift out of her successful, well-established corporate professional life, to follow her calling, staying true to herself, and pursuing the vision she held for her work.
Since 2013, we’ve seized the opportunity to engage with and support Heather’s work in any way we can. We’ve watched her impact grow, expand, and ripple all around the world. Heather has also supported the Wholehearted Business Team by co-facilitating a team development retreat and a client VIP working retreat. Her contribution was invaluable and also provided an up close opportunity to experience her exceptional leadership skills and mentorship capacity.

It was in 2016, the second time one of Heather’s posts went viral that we made the declaration that it wasn’t a matter of ‘if’, but ‘when’, the Wholehearted Business Team would have the opportunity to support Heather in developing a global brand and online business home worthy of the body of work she’d spent the last dozen years developing. In 2019, with the launch of her first book, “The Art of Holding Space: A Practice of Love, Leadership & Liberation ” imminent and on the horizon, it was time!
What we didn’t know back in 2016 was that not only would we have the exquisite opportunity to work closely with Heather to amplify her work, but that we’d also have the good fortune to work with the extraordinary behind-the-scenes, make-all-kinds-of-magic happen person that had been helping Heather build and her business — and recent new partner. Enter Krista dela Rosa!
We often say we wish everyone could have a Heather and a Krista in their lives and in their work. The full of heart, Grace, intentional, approach they bring to the substantial body of work they’ve developed is something we’re in awe of. Our collaboration together has been a beautiful dance of giving, sharing, envisioning, creating, expanding, deepening … and rinsing and repeating. The work is always full … full of opportunities to grow, be of service, create meaning and beauty … and we’re just getting started.
